kid says tv runs fine for about two hours then shuts off about 15mint comes back on. only does this on battery power . works ok on shore power . checked batteries read 13volt . any ideas ?

Sounds like a good idea... kind of a power mgt system. Keeps someone from falling asleep with tv's on and waking up in the morning to dead batteries.

after talking to a couple guys .your right . they say it has a sleep mode program built in . .I going to reread the book and see how to turn it on/off.

Sleep mode should be a manual thing on your TV. Maybe your inverter gets hot and shuts off temporarily?

Get a meter and check the voltage at the plug when it dies. I'm guessing you have power problems not TV problems.

I checked the sleep mode it was off so thats not the problem . I:LL do the power check tomorrow .
