I bought an Aria Classic china toilet to replace the plastic one in my RV. (Wanted the elongated seat mainly)

Anyhow, the vacuum breaker is plastic tied to the toilet. Should I remove the tie and let it just hang freely in the air? The plastic tie looks like it is for shipping only, but I don't know if the vacuum breaker should just hang freely either.

Leave it tied, otherwise the waterline will bounce around when flushing. That could eventually cause a leak. Had that model for six years, self installed, good service.
