We cook most of our meals inside. We eat a lot of salads and veggies. In the last four years, we have grilled something maybe five times. Just not worth all the effort and mess for two people.
We discovered the first year of rving, we used it as an opportunity to pig out on vacation. Now we are more conservative having happy our and a snack or we fix a light supper. Breakfast on the weekend, or one day a week is heavy. I'm no saint!
What we have found is that you can use the rv kitchen just like at home and have fun and nutritious meals at the same time.

Well I have already posted but I'll add something new. Gorgeous brought home a new addition to our MH gear this evening. It is an electric rotisserie that can do a large chicken or two cornish hens. Sounds like I have a new toy to find some recipes for.

We basically eat the same foods we eat at home.DH cookes most of the meat on the grill though and I don't fry in the rv,we use the cooked mircrowave bacon and sausage for breakfast.Sunday night is always rib eye or t-bone on the grill, baked potato and tossed salad. I have an oven but never use it,we bought the largest toaster oven we could find and I use that to cook muffins, biscuits, etc. I've heard too many complaining of burning food in their ovens so prefer the toaster oven and use the campgrounds power instead of our gas for the oven! I also have a slow cooker I use often. I got the set of stacking cookware from Camping World and really like it,it cooks evenly and is easy to clean.

Non glazed or glazed- doesn't make any difference. The glazed is easier to clean any drips from. Make sure there is a space all the way around so heat can circulate.
I eat "better" and take more time cooking while camping than at home. One of the first dinners I make is Fettuccini Alfredo. I often find recipes here and other places and have the time to leisurely make then in the campground. I also do stuff in foil, eat burgers and hotdogs and more "normal" camp foods.
Some folks are here for good tasting fast meals- their main camping interest lies in other activities. For some cooking and eating is often the major activity. But I think everybody is looking for good taste and easy cleanup.
I recently bought my first pie iron but forgot it on my last trip (heck I remembered the heavy cream and Parmigiano Reggiano ). I unscrewed the pie iron's handles to make it easy to season in the oven at home.

We eat about the same meals as we have at home but I do much of my cooking outside in an electric frying pan or on the pull down stove top. I buy Microwave cookbooks at garage sales for 10 cents to a quarter so have learned to make almost anything in the microwave includeing brownies.
We do not make hot dogs unless we have young children with us.

We cook mostly on the Weber Q. Anything from hamburgers to chicken to steak to swordfish to lobster tails. We always eat any seafood the first night while it's the freshest.
I use the stove top or microwave for things like tortellini & sauce, rice, Costco mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, eggs, pancakes, etc.
I used the oven once to make garlic bread.

For the first night, we like to have a chicken ceasar salad. I buy one of the precooked chicken packages for the salad. We have salad, sliced cheese, and french bread (and usually a couple glasses of wine).

We pretty much cook the same as at home. We don't though fry things in the TT, keeping grease to a minimum. We tend to eat light and simple for the most part, avoiding eating out except for special occasions. We also cook outside frequently when the weather permits.
