I know it's a bit early but just wanted to get you thinking about next years schedule. Places to go, things to do(other than eating). Here's some ideas of places to go. If you want to host a gathering, just say so.
Pier-Lon Park I think Jim and Carol want to host one here.
Natural Springs. We went here a couple years ago. Nice park and it was fun to invade Tom Raper's RV.
Cross Creek. Nice facility just north of Columbus.
Olive Branch. This one's near King's Island. Bob & Helen, Sharyl & I stayed there earlier this year. Nice place and the owners are working hard to make it better.
Maumee Bay SP sounds good as well as West Branch, Salt Fork, Hocking Hills and East Harbor SP's.
Also, Cardinal Center CG. No I didn't buy stock in it, Dan.
So many places to go, so little time.
Whenever you're looking at a place to hold a get together you need to remember that there are all sizes of RV's in our group. Some are harder than others to manuver so tight spaces may not work very well for some. Confirm what imenities they have.(WiFi, cable TV, w/s/e, how big ampereage service(20/30/50))
See you at the OSU/PSU rally where we'll actually start putting some of this on the calendar. And remember to bring your calendar folders. I'll have blank 2009 calendars ready for you to fill in when we try to put next years activities together.
COULD THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT HAVE A CALENDAR FOLDER CONTACT ME SO I CAN BE SURE YOU GET ONE. THANK YOU.
And I would like to add that there may be one at Benner's in PA. The Kennywood Rally. Co-hosted with another couple.

Assuming someone is keeping track of these (since we can't make it to OSU/PSU this year), Lil'Darlin1972 (whom some of us met at Cedar Point a year ago) is having a rally over Memorial Day weekend in Michigan. Link

....maybe we could use some of that good local cheese from the bulk store....mmmmmm-mmmmmmm.....I'm just sayin'....
...I brake for deer....squirrels, nature's little speed bumps...
Well, I stopped at the local Promptmed office today to get an opinion on the spider bite. "that is really interesting looking" was the comment from the NP who did not touch it, but washed her hands with sanitizer immediately
She wasn't sure if it was infected, but gave me some antibiotics and a steroid dosepak just in case. She said it kind of looked like shingles, which I have never seen, so I can't say.
Right now it's about 2in by 1 in with a tail - small black center and lots of blisters... ewww

I have an idea for a rally, rather an idea for something NOT to do for a rally...
I don't think we should camp anywhere more than once/year. I'm not going to pull any punches, but I mean Evergreen. I know it's convenient, and it's a nice campground, and because it's open all year, but I think we can try to find some new places to go and get a bit more creative. If we do a late-year rally there (keep in mind the OSU-PSU game is in NOVEMBER next year), I think we should move the Spring rally to a new campground.
Nobody get offended, now. Purely my opinion, but I wanted everyone to know.

Hey Leslie, I like your opinion. Maybe we could have the Spring Rally at Cardinal Center CG. (and NO I do not have stock either) It just was a really nice place centrally located the would make it easier for EVERYONE!!
And did I mention they have an indoor pool?
