We are planning a trip to Pismo in a few weeks ... anyone ready to go
It's not bad anymore. They have fixed the river so it doesn't run out and tear a sink hole to suck trucks in. It maybe gets to be a 1ft to maybe 1.5ft deep. The really bad pic's where from back in the day and when the BIG storms hit. Now people get stuck in the sand getting in but if you are stuck way down in the water ... well you should be more careful
i've only seen the river once and it was just a little stream. this was 3 years ago. since then i never saw it... didn't know it can get that big! so the river also has some deep spots?

I was say it as a joke.... your the one that blew it
I can only hope the tide was on its way out and the guy was able to wait it out then get some jacks under the trailer and lift the axels out of the sand. I'm not sure there is much more he could have done?
Even though it is painful to look at, I'm a voyer and love this kind of stuff. . . post more! post more!
