Does anyone know of any good family places to go camping along the Sacramento River Delta? We will be going during the second week of October. We have a self contained cab-over camper and don't need hookups. Boon-docking is ok.

We have camped at Brannon Island and Sand Beach near Rio Vista CA. Lots of people and was some yrs back.

Try Vieira's resort. Good for families. Brannen and Sandy Beach are good too.

Stockton KOA if you have kids, Brannon Island is OK for basic camping, not all that nice and a very noisy road near by. There are hundreds of places to camp but most are little "holes in the wall". Turner Cut is not bad except you are behind the levees.
