LOL, no that was under the sink and I just haven't found a new spot for it yet. I cracked open a beer just before starting (I needed it!) and my wife was quick to snatch it out of my hand - she said called me a few names that I can't repeat here(:

Another nice job!
I'm still gutless on this project (and the slide end window) but am still thinking about a smaller door and not messing with rerouting the plumbing or installing a bulkhead. I figure I could do this without removing the range.
But two sets of photos are making this look achieveable (but not easier!).

Oh, MisterD you live close enough to do the mod again, only this time on mine!! I'm not too handy myself but I'm the handy one in the house! I have two doors I want to put in mine. One under the sink to put in an outside shower so I have running water in my outdoor kitchen. The second one I want to put up front on the back side (drivers side) where there's extra room under my U shaped dinette.

I have no doubt you could do this mod, Chuck. Once you get enough nerve to actually start, you just have to cut slow n straight(: I think this could have been done without removing the oven (or drawers), but it was easy to take out and I figured it would help to see the big picture and by letting in some light. It probably weighs less than 50 pounds and I only had to remove 9 screws (6 hold it in, 1 holds the ground wire, 2 hold the cover).

A fine job indeed. I love watching others cut their ROOs!
I spent a week with 4HPYCMPRS in NY and totally forgot to look at his new storage area. It isn't like he has a neon sign flashing an arrow down to it! The diamond plate storage box on the bumper is obvious but that is old news!
Even though I have enjoyed my storage areas I love the length of yours. It almost looks like the same room under our sofa storage but on it's side.
'Bout time you 23SS folks catch up with their little brothers! Hah!

Thanks Derek for the additional photos and explanation. I have done some modifications to my TT and have seen work done by others. Let me tell you that your work looks terrific! However, I don't think anyone is going to buy that line about you being one of the least handy guys around. Good job and great use of otherwise wasted space.

Okay....
Instead of a 'Tool Time' television show how 'bout a 'Rip Your ROO' show?
I'll stick to shelves, extra lights, thermostat installs, Tornados and other folly.
BTW...those pics of the campfire sandwich makers stored on the storage wall almost look like weapons at the ready! Could always grab 'em when Bears come out of the woods!
