Brue Starkey, I have a MH, 15000 was in the rear over bed and 13500 was in the front. Most of the heat load is in the frot so the 15000 should have been in the front. I guess it was beer thirty.
This sounds like a dealer problem. They probably ordered the wrong one for you. A dealer can make or break an experience.
We have a Carri-lite and love it. Had no problems except had a decal replaced on the door. Wind blew it back into the basement door while basement was open and put a mar in the decal. Carriage replaced it with no problem. I have never heard of any of your problems from other Carriage owners. Have you looked in the Carriage forum? They may offer some advice for you.
We have a 2008 Carri-lite and have a 15000 carrier AC in living room and a 13.5 in bedroom.

rkentzel: That explains my confusion. You have to give those techs a break, when installing units on top of the roofs of Rv's they probably do a bunch of fifth wheels and forget they're now standing on the top of a motorhome and for most floorplans, fifth wheels and motorhomes are exactly opposite in their lounge to bedroom location. they should be trained to go look over the front and if they see a windshield the "big" one (A/C) should be to the front! LOL!
Today is just the tomorrow you worried about yesterday!

There has been a lot of discussion on this accusation on the Carriage group and it seems to be mistaken. Carrier does mqke a 15K heat pump unit and that is what is installed when ordered.
Sometimes people jump to conclusions apparently.
