buster - the truck is paid for - and in great shape with low mileage. just doesn't make sense to sell it (because of the fuel prices - for not near what it's worth!) my bike is a solo bar hopper... no bags, and will remain that way. I've given a lot of thought to going to a taller gear in the truck, and might do that.... especially if I get a trailer.

I think the main problem you will have if you go the MH route is the towing capacity of the rig. I usually see small cars being towed, not 6,000 lb trucks with 600 lbs of bike in them.

My TT weight is 3,900 lbs dry with a GVWR of 4,200 lbs. DW and I find it quite comfortable. Alone, it's a palace

YMMV
