Ran them for 3 years, no problems and enjoyed the low prices.

Got a price for 6 225/70R/19.5 tires out the door for $1698.82. My question is these are the AH11's and I don't much about them. Does anybody know or use this tire and is this a good price?? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks....

I sold Hankook tires for about 15 years and they were one of the most trouble free tires and tire companies I ever dealt with. I ran them myself for as long as I sold them and when I replaced the OEM on my '06 Titan a few months ago would have bought them again had they been available in the size and tread pattern I wanted. I absolutely would not hesitate about running a Hankook tire again.

Now on the other side of that you have folks here who swear by Good Year. You couldn't give me a set. I had the most problems with them when I sold tires and they were the worst company to deal with as a dealer to get warranty adjustments done.

Ask 10 people and you will probably get 10 different opinions on this question.

John, have you ever looked at the new tires on a new Ford?

I have found Michelin 8R19.5 XZA for $260.00 plus sales tax at Costco. In my county that would come to $1653.54 for 6 tires on the drive and tag axles. I have 2 almost new Goodyears on the front. I read somewhere that Costco inflates with nitrogen at no extra charge.
As I understand it, they do not stock these and have to be pre-ordered.

First let me say Sully why don't you get a wheel barrel. I have two 12R 22.5 on the front of my caoch with 7000 miles on them and have had no problems. They are a good tire that you will get rid of in 5-6 years.

I've had the Hankook tires on my MH for over a year now, approx. 5K miles and they are good tires, much better ride and handling than the previous michelins I've used on the MH.

Previous to the use on the MH, I was asked to try a set on my mustang, which was used several times at Willow springs (race track). Initially, I was skeptical, because I was a diehard Goodyear and BFG customer. But the tire set worked great. Good quality tires.

i would not hesitate to buy another set if the prices remain good...for the MH, toad (jeep), or our other cars.

2. I would be very leery of any chinese tires, due diligence, and all that.

I'm pretty sure Hankook tires are Korean, not Chinese.

I've been leary of them over the years too but always read good things about their car tires so maybe they're worth a little research to see if any MH use has been reviewed or tested.

Edit: I see now someone else noted they are Korean.

I will never understand why people will spend 1000's of dollars on there coach, sat dishes, and all kinds of things to better your rv, but want to skimp and go cheap on the most important piece of equipment you have on the coach.

I just do not know the reasoning behind it!
