for a large number of rv's,age of the tire comes in faster than wear.i put a set on my cl A 10,000 miles ago.plan to wear them out.time will tell.three of the people at the place where i bought them were running them, including the owner.i'd hate to throw away a set of expensive tires with alot of thread because of their age.

That's a good thing to point out on more than half the threads on this forum!

Got a price for 6 225/70R/19.5 tires out the door for $1698.82. My question is these are the AH11's and I don't much about them. Does anybody know or use this tire and is this a good price?? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks....

I will never understand why people will spend 1000's of dollars on there coach, sat dishes, and all kinds of things to better your rv, but want to skimp and go cheap on the most important piece of equipment you have on the coach.

I just do not know the reasoning behind it!

There is nothing wrong with these tires. They are OEM on the Ford Edge and other models. Ford (I am sure Hankook was the cheapest bidder) but that being said they are not going to pen themselves to lawsuits on a less than quality tire.

I suggest you go back to one my earlier pots and check out their website. These tire are winning off-road races-more punishment than your rig will ever take!

The poster was #1. asking if anyone heard of them! #2. For your opinion! If we never heard of them how can they be junk? When I say I never heard of them I'm not saying there junk. I'm in the trucking business for over 40 years, and have owned hundreds of cars since I was 16 years old. Someone posted me there on new Fords I haven't owned a Ford since 1979, the year the transmissions would go into reverse while in the park position. And Ford wouldn't fix them and the government backed Ford since repairing them would cause Ford to go bankrupt! Bless Ford they sent me a warning sticker to put on my sun visor warning me of something I already knew. Wouldn't that qualify as junk? John

Roosteer,
I would imagine that you have knowledge there are many trucking companies that run "off-shore" tires. I see plenty of them sitting in L.A. traffic on both the trailers and tractors....

I just purchased 3 for $700.00 but I got the G rated tires. I put G rated tires on my MH. They ride great.

Seems that a lot of people heard of this brand in the non-luxury market, as indicated by this J.D. Power and Associates survey. Thing is, most all these surveys have to do with wear longevity and if a customer can get that with his car, he's satisfied. Still a good indicator, cuz you don't get a lot of miles on a tire if it fails prematurely.

My first question when I buy something is "Is this made in the USA?" If we should ever get into a position similar to WWII it took weeks to change our auto factories over to war production. Do you think China or any other country will do that for us? Every dollar we spend on foreign products is another dollar they can use to buy up our land, companies, etc. We are giving our country away to the foreign countries and even doing it with a smile. We have all kinds of jobs available in service here in this country but it is the manufacturing jobs that produce something that are required to keep an economy goikng. While I am on my Economics soapbox remember "Corporations do not pay taxes". When a corporation gets assessed with a tax the product goes up in price with the tax added as a cost of doing business. Guess who pays the tax then.

Hmm...last time I checked, PT Cruisers are not built anywhere except MEXICO! Might wanna move out of that glass house, dude.

Chuck your are correct and I see most of them on ship container frames (we call the containers "cans") We had a Sealand can in our truck yard the other day and the can I was looking at had tires on it called New Pride? I've never heard of them either? Rooster
