OK, has anyone else had this problem? There are some stray cats in the neighborhood........and of course the motorhome in the driveway seems to be a magnet. They like getting underneath and all up in the little nooks and crannies etc.
Is there any natural repellent........ok no jokes like dogs, or guns etc.
I have tried the garden hose and that works for a while but they seem to come back.
Thanks

They like getting inside livecatch traps and also like for the dogcatchers to come haul them off to kitty jail too.....

Cats don't like citrus (orange & lemon peels work pretty well) or moth balls.... short of that effort to keep them away from your M/H it may indeed be time to call Animal Control. Feral cats can easily get WAY overpopulated, as you may already know. As a lover of all of God's creatures I appreciate your gentle request (re: no gun or jokes).

Please remember it's not the cats fault, a human at some point or another is responsible for them running wild like this.

Good luck, to you... and the feral cats.

Buy a couple live animal trap cages at Lowe's or Tractor Supply Co. I trap 'em year around out back near the motorhome. Call animal services and they pick 'em up free. Re-bait the trap and catch another.

It's squirrels that are the nuisance to RVs here. They get up into engine compartments and try to nest. Found nuts between one engine battery and the closed hood a couple years ago. BB rifles are the only good deterents to squirrels.

I have a sweet tender nature, however I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions.

Motion activated sprinklers usually work. Scarecrow is one brand, there are probably lots of others.

I personally love the cats that hang around our storage lot (they aren't feral, they wear collars and look well cared for). The worst they do is pee on the tires, and I figure that's well worth it to have them keep the mice away.

Now your talking something I understand too well.

Seriously, I think I like the motion sensor water sprinkler the best.

Cat, wouldn't citrus attract ants?

The motion sensor sprinklers do work. We've had a problem with them using the flower beds by the front door (and forgetting to bury their "presents"). Since I installed a Scarecrow sprinkler, they go elsewhere.

two choices. Either remove the RV or the pests. I use a trap, from a tractor supply store, for pests such as cats/coons/squirrels/dogs/etc when they become a nuisance. We have no shelters out here as none of the small towns/cities will take stray animals other than from a city residence so its left up to the land owner to handle the problem.
