If it passes the once over by your favorite mechanic I wouldn't think twice about it. My 2001 Cummins has 115,000 and hasn't lost one single MPG since the day I bought it with 27,000. I'll keep it till it falls apart.
I don't get lost, I investigate alternative destinations.
See a guy in the campground with a telescope, that may be me.
2001 Dodge 2500 Cummins HO six speed.
2002 Springdale 286 RLDS TT
That wouldn't bother me a bit if the truck was looked after and the price is right. What will wear out around that time os front end parts like tie rod ends and ball joints. Look for uneven tire wear up front for a clue.
Yep, if it is in good shape, the miles on a "cummins" are not at all bad, mine has ONLY 268,000 so,........... I dont even think twice about driving it 1000, 2000, 3000 miles on a trip.
Matter of fact, just getting ready to go up to Northern Mn. , in a few days

We bought our truck ( in sig ) 2 2/1 years ago with 82,000 miles on it.
It just turned 102,000 last week.
Only problem was transmission went out (during vacation of course) at 101,000.
It is fixed now and running great!
