The place to start is with your tow vehicle insurance carrier and go from there.
I assume you have a long term relationship with your auto insurance agent--let him advise you--give reccomendations. A fifth wheel or travel trailer should probably be added on to your auto policy--that generally gives you maximum flexibility in both endorsement changes (taking coverages on and off) and in a claims situation.
Since your auto covers the liability and medical on the trailer, you are looking for physical damage coverage.

I read somewhere on these forums that all new USAA policies are now being underwritten by Progressive through USAA. Not sure if it's true or not, but a lot of people seem to be happy with Progressive. I'm with USAA (typically military and dependants only).

We have Progressive for our autos and our class C. We've never made a claim for the MH but we have on our autos. Always have had fast, courteous, responses from the claims reps. My wife had an accident that did $5500.00 worth of damage to our mini van. Progressive sent a roll back to pick up our van, took it to the body shop I specified, and we had it back with in 2 weeks. My out of pocket expense, only my deductible. The damage estimator they sent out was a little low, body shop called them, they paid it with no hassle.

I hate to sound like a commercial for them but this is what my experience with them has been. We've been with them at least 12 or 13 years possibly more. Its been so long I can't remember.

We do have replacement coverage on the MH and its based on what we paid for it. I had to send a copy of the bill of sale stating the amount we paid.
