You know there are a LOT of male nurses these days.

Many moons ago, when I was 16, I had to have my tonsils removed. Wouldn't you know it, I had the CUTEST male nurse around! LOL Too bad I couldn't talk after the surgery . . .

Short story about male nurses.

Two of our three daughters were with Gorgeous a couple months back when she had neck surgery. Both of them are single right now. Julie, the oldest is the doter, and she is tending mom very closely. Amanda, the middle daughter, is sitting in a chair watching TV, when the nurse walks in. He was a handsome young man. Both girls immediately come to full girlishness. Hair is tossed, make up is checked and charm is at 100%. He spent a few minutes checking vitals, and doing the things nurses do and I thought both girls were going to wet all over themselves before he left the room.

I'm with mandrake, I want a Candy Stripper.

My friend is going in for a simple skeleton replacement. She/he should be back on her/his, or someone else’s, feet in no time.

My friend is having her/his surgery performed as I type this, I hope her/his surgeon isn't "practicing" this time.

My friend is a forum member here, I'd tell you who she/he is but she/he doesn't go by their real name here on the forum so you wouldn't know who she/he really is any way.

She/he made me promise not to start a "prayer" thread but I had my fingers crossed and because we are on opposite ends of the world she/he couldn't see that I had them crossed.

I hope all goes OK and I will keep you all updated.

All of a sudden, I feel the need to say that even though most of you know that Kenny and I are good friends, and live on opposite sides of the world...the he/she in question is not me!

I offer as proof of my veracity the fact that I am here, as usual, imparting wisdom to the masses.

I do, however, wish him/her the very best! And may a gorgeous nurse, female/male or whatever floats his/her boat be part of the treatment and his/her recovery.

So... should we or should we not offer prayer up for he/she, should this or should this not be considered a joke? Or perhaps it belongs in a new category all it's own
LOL

half and half

My friend is in the hospital for surgery, I promissed no prayer thread.

This one is tongue and cheek, but if there was a prayer "cat"egory that's where it would be.
