my tt has the table with 2 posts and it has been wobbly from day one. Any suggestions on how to get it more secure. We never take it down for sleeping purposes.

take it down, flip the posts and using a piece of wood over the top of the tubes, tap them down with a hammer .

What happens when you have to make up that table into a bed for the night? Does banging them in like that make them tough to get out?

3 points of contact better than 2, so maybe purchase an expandable bar, like kind for holding items in a truck bed, and place in 3rd place under table? It would be easy to store and remove for bed conversion? Good luck.

just whack the table with the palm of your hand (or a rubber mallet) just over the post that should tighten it up...

yes the tighter it is the harder it is to remove them...

I tried all of those tricks always got loose, even replaced the tapered mounts on the floor, replaced the tubes.. nothing worked..

Since the area is never used as a bed I glued the bottom of the posts with this stuff.. solid now.

Exactly what I do! and the table is very steady. and it isn`t all that much harder to remove.
The other thing you can do is get some colapsable legs and remove the pole mounts.
