Welcome to the forums. Don't be intimidated by the age which most of us here are as we are probably mostly old enough to be a parent, at least. It is a good place to start if you want to learn about RVs before you buy one and have a really bad experience. Sadly, there are RVs out there which are little more than junk.

Read a lot before you make important decisions about major purchases. A lot of folks make serious economic mistakes when new.

Welcome. I (we) loved tent camping, until old age greeped up on us,well I am 45. I always say(now days) that if I was young and single again, I would have me a small RV, maybe a 16 o 18 ft TT. And just learn to do odd jobs and move around. But we all know that would never happen. Good luck and ask questions. Rent a few before buying.

Welcome. I wish I had started in on RVs sooner that I did, but you're never too late (rarely too early).

As others have said, read a lot. If you have the opportunity, go camping with someone who already has an RV, so you can watch and see how they do, experience it first hand and ask questions.

I had the great fortune of having in-laws that have a 5th wheel, a travel trailer and a pop-up, so I saw at least those types in action.

We decided PUP because it met many of our needs, which was basically a major upgrade to tenting. Of course, budget played into it too.

Your criteria will be different.

I hope you get opportunities to go camping and RVing. Generally, most folks are very polite and accomodating. Just be sure to show respect to others' privacy and be courteous - that will open doors like nothing else.

Really enjoy seeing the younger folks getting in the RV scene. We were starting to wonder if we were youngsters at Rving in our late 30's. Welcome!
