We will be taking our coach to the Wildwood, FL service center to have a slide leak fixed the end of September. Will also have some other problems taken care of as well.
We would have preferred the Elkhart service center but, they will be closed at the end of August and Oregon is further away.
What kind of results have you folks had??

Very good service facilty. Was there last year in Aug and then November. Slide problems are their biggest issue. They have about 30 sites with hook-ups to use. You can stay in your coach at night while being repaired. They return them to your spot each day at 4:00 pm and pick them back up at 7:00 am the next morning. Warning... be prepared to stay much longer than they advised you when you made the appointment. I know two or three couples who had been there for three weeks while they tried to repair "water leaks in slides." Start planning on places to go and see while there... Silver Springs, daytona, Sea World, etc. It gets very boring sitting in their lobby everyday. WI-FI is availabel in service lobby but I couldn't get it at coach site... they may turn it off at night. I don't think they had cable either but you probably have satelite. Also, make sure they have evrything on your "to do" list asap. They don't like to add a bunch of items once you are there.
Thanks folks.... since its started raining here, we have noticed the leak. If it don't rain, it don't leak!
Thanks again... looking forward to the trip
The day you arrive (from my experience) is check in only. They don't even look at your unit that day. They look at the problem the next morning and work will start the next day. If you are counting that is 3-days from arrival till work starts. It is a very nice shop and you can walk around in the shop and observe all sorts of work being done. That is educational. The town of Wildwood has nothing to offer, but you will be in driving distance to lots of interesting places. If you need to purchase parts while there, be sure and tell the parts counter lady you are having work done. You get a discount only while you are in for repairs, so take advantage of it. It is not advertised, but it is what she told me, and I saw both prices. There is a dump on site so dump before parking if you have need.
Don't lock your rig using the dead bolt if you leave and it has not been picked up for service. Only lock the regular lock. They have a master key for that. When they return the rig to your pad each day, they lock the regular lock so if you are not there, at least the coach is locked.

To check for leaks, they have a machine that pours water on the unit, just like heavy rain. They found our leak, but dh had to show the guy where to caulk.
