We did 10 days in June and I only missed 3 weekends from May through last weekend. The weekends were probably an even split between 2 nights, 3 nights, and 4 nights.
I haven't worked a full week since June 1st - and I'm very proud of it since I'm a workaholic by nature. Exhausted...but proud. That pace is a bit much for a single mom with a muscle disorder.
Next year, we're doing two weeks at Yellowstone and likely fewer weekends.
It is way too much trouble to go for a weekend in our rig. Plus, we don’t have our rig to “camp” - i.e. to hang out at campgrounds to get away from it all. We live deep in the woods in the middle of our own land, so we “get away from it all” every day. Frankly, I hate campgrounds with all of the crowds, rules Nazi’s, chatty busybodies, hassles with the dogs, etc, etc.
We have the rig to “live” on site when upland bird hunting in remote places and to allow my handicapped wife (who cannot travel otherwise) to visit those of our kids who live out of state. When we take the rig out, we are usually gone for a month or so. We do that two or three times per year, depending on work pressures (I manage my business by telecommuting when we are traveling). So, I’d say about 60 to 90 days/year of “camping”. I’m hoping in another year or so to up that to four trips per year and/or extend the length of the trips. Eventually, I’d like to spend about six months/year in the MH.

Over 100 nights so far for 2008 and will be starting another 14 tomorrow. We have been going out for two weeks every 2-3 weeks and every weekend - weekends for me alternate 2 & 3 days. For the two week outings I commute to work from the RV park (it's closer than home). Including the upcoming two weeks I expect about 75 more for 2008. Getting some practice in for retirement in 222 days.
I work full-time, and probably will till I keel over. DW is attempting retirement this year, and we have 17 camping days together. DW took another 2 weeks at a Colorado CG teaching cross-stitch (traded for the site). Still have one more week at Labor Day, and a few weekends before it freezes up. While we aren't traveling as far any more, I don't think we are camping less.

It looks like most are still camping, but maybe the trips are a little closer to home. It certainly is the case for us. We have not been out but 15 nights this year, but had to cancel a few dyue to medical reasons. Matter of fact I am supose to be camping this weekend, but the 16 year old dog is not doing well.

We did total of 32 days in 2007 in our 40'DP. Interesting sidelight was the total cost...yes including the big one...depreciation...about $32,000 or about $1,000.00 per day. Loss of investment return on total equity, insurance premiums, secure storage rent, maintainance, repairs, tire replacement reserve, campground fees, fuel cost, tolls.

We camp 80-100 nights a year. My husband might have to drive in for work but we have never gone for just two or three days at a time.
Whoops, we have in midwinter when the temperature gets below 20 degrees, than three days is enough.
