Our Windscreen on our Damon Daybreak 2001 has dropped and we now have a gap at the top in the right hand corner and the left hand corner (daylight can be seen here) i read somewhere that there was a recall from Damon some time ago due to this problem! if not then is it a case of just having the Windscreen taken out and then resiitting it back in again! PLEASE NOTE WE LIVE IN ENGLAND!!!

First you need to find out why.Have you twisted the frame trying to level? Other cause may be opening is cut to large. Mine popped out and it was reseated and havent had the issue again.

We noticed the Right side had dropped when we left a campsite in France 2 weeks ago, this may have been caused by twisting the frame when leveling! but the Left side (drivers side) has been like it since we got the RV last October

Once it pops anything goes.It doesnt surprise me the other side popped.Mine started on the left, then closed a month later.Driving to Tenn. I heard a huge wind rush and looked up to see my windshield sticking out about 2 " then my wife says her side popped.I kept driving and get to campground, all freaked out.I level and it all went back together.I went to dealer,it was still under warranty, they had a glass shop reseat it.The dealer couldnt tell me why it popped, but after watching my MH twist when self leveling I assumed that was it.

Did you have your Motor Home shipped by cargo vessel?
Did they drive it aboard or lift it by crane?
In addition to the previous listed possibilities, the above may have caused a twisting and thus 'poping' of the wind screen, out of it's intended space.
I would try to find a well experienced "Wind Screen" repair place and seek to have the screen replaced to it's intended position.
Good Luck

Same problem with my 2008 Windsport. It is back in the shop for the second time. Only had it out twice and the windshield popped both times.

I attended the G.L.A.S.S. rally (FMCA) which is held annually about 30 miles from Damon
3 days later they had removed the windshield, re-cut the opening (Which had been cut wrong) and replaced the windshield doing it the same way as Mr. Simpson (With a poly adheasive)
Based on the quality of the work.. I do not expect this windshield to come out till the rig is.... Well. I don't expect it to come out (And 2 years later it still has not)
My suggestion is to join FMCA, Attend the G.L.A.S.S. rally and set up an appointment for Damon..
Else,, Give this post to your glass man and see if he gets any ideas.
