Has anyone tried this yet? www.epowertent.com
Does it work? Is it worth it? How do you plug in a hair dryer if it's not a 12v? Not that I would but just asking. I'm curious about the reading light and fan too. Also, does the battery pack really work long enough?

I haven't tried it but it sure looks nice I want the big one even with having a camper. It may make me want to tent camp again sometime. I didn't think the price was too bad either. I would go for it.

Bass Pro had one setup, it's really quality built. Blew away the Columbia Cougar Flat tent. The Columbia was built like my Ozark trail tent that leaked, with the exception of 'some' taped seams. Both are made by Northpole so they have the same build negatives.
The N!ergy 1310 is priced as the Copper Canyon 1312. The difference the N!ergy 1310 gives up water resistant quality and size in exchange for the lighting system. The coating is only 800 mm thick compared to the Copper Canyon's 1200 mm thickness. Then the Copper Canyon is bigger plus has an awning.
I'm not in favor of the N!ergy technology but some may like it. Any battery 12V power supply with a female cigarette lighter receptacle, can be bought. I have one that has jumper cables. I think for the money battery laterns do better, and I'd rather have a more water resistant coating on the tent, along with an awning and a bigger size.
I like Eureka products, and their customer service is exemplary! But, the Epower thing looks like a gimmick to me. The idea is sound but that little power pack is not nearly ample enough to power anything beyond a small light and fan for a few hours. For not much more money than the power pack you can buy a deep cycle battery and a portable inverter. Lights and fans will last all weekend with that setup.

The Eureka Copper Canyon says it has a power port. What is that
and can you hook up electrical items inside that tent? Both tents
seem really interesting. We may investigate these choices while we
are saving for a popup.

The Copper Canyon has a small zippered opening with a velcro flap near the door to run an extention cord into the tent. It's pretty cool. I like it better than that built-in thing in the Epower Tent. Keep in mind, though that the Copper Canyon is NOT a cold weather tent.
