We're thinking about going to Maine this summer, but concerned about the heat and crowds. How's the weather in Maine during the summer? Are there areas that are cooler and less croweded than others?

We're going to Outer Banks the last two weeks of June. Staying at Collington Park. jls where are you staying? Then later in the summer to Lancaster Pa. or Maine. bspill, I don't think you will have to worry about the heat in Maine. The crowds aren't bad either.

We have a couple of trips planned..

May 10th through 12th - Sugarpine Reservoir in the Tahoe National Forest (California, Sierras). (hopefully will have MH sold and new trailer, otherwise that is a tent trip).

June 23rd through 30th - Alaska cruise. No RVing involved.

July 19th through 21st - Back to Sugarpine Reservoir for a campout that I've put together with the people I work with. Kind of a team-building experience.

Other unspecified trips that we'd like to make: Bodega Bay RV park and/or Doran Beach Camping. Humboldt big trees. Collins Lake near Marysville, CA and (maybe) a Disneyland trip. Not sure if we'll RV on that one again, or just stay in a Motel..
