Does anyone know of a good 5th wheel around 22ft? I'd like to be able to use camp grounds that limit your length to 22 feet and at the same time get as much space as possible. What is the shortest one with a slide out.

Thanks
Mike

Trail-lite has 2 models under 25ft with slides, KZ has several (1 Ultra-lite and multiple Sportsman). Not aware of any under 22ft with slides, but length limits in national forest campgrounds are not hard limits, but guidelines, if that helps.

Depends on the type of slide too. Trail lite and Jayco Qwest have sofa slides, which give some more space, but not floor space. The sofa kind of pops out of the wall. Those are nice units under 25'. If your looking for a a super slide, one that the whole wall slides out, I don't know of any under 25'. Check all the major manufacturers, like Fleetwood RV, Keystone RV.

we have a 24ft sierra by forest river (CA), it has a slide w/ "jack-knife" sofa bed that goes out about 18 inches. we have 3 small children, and there is plenty of room for us. it is rear kitchen, split bath and can sleep 6. it is the lite model F21LT apx weight 4100lbs. we have had not problems with it, and love it. we also were looking for something between 22' and 24', but could not find one much less than 23.5-24ft.

Mike,

Nash/Artic Fox have a 23 footer with a slide -- that's what I have. Their web site is www.nashtraveltrailers.com
