Wow we had a great weekend. Everyone was great. The location was very nice (didn't like the entrance much ) but the grounds were great!
We got out of the campground just ahead of the rain, had a little rain while driving (first time for this rig, wipers work good ) and made it home about 4 beating the rain. We had just enough time to unload before it really let loose.
Thanks for inviting us. Tubing was a blast, The food was crazy. We could have feed an army. It was nice to make new friends. Christy wants to play more bocce ball.
We will definitely try to make it to more of these outings.
If you consider the number of cuts drawing blood and injuries one has in a weekend rally as a gauge for how good the weekend was, I guess it was pretty good!
Two cuts on my right foot on some trim in the motorhome Sunday morning trying to brush out the never ending grass on the steps, two on my right hand not sure from where, one on my left hand unpacking today, cat scratch on my left arm getting Barney from behind the RV sofa this morning (not intentional, he was scared), a small puncture on my lower lip from a toothpick last night after dinner, and I just cut another finger on my right hand washing out the cat food cans! Thank goodness Herman is dormant for another nine years...
I've also dumped some of steved28's (tagged SD) and Holliston Camper's photos (tagged DN) in this album for safe keeping! I even brought over some of LocoMikes mini-me photos from Photobucket (tagged MS)...sorry Mike...I also use PhotoBucket but the size limits pushed me to plan B, WebShots. Nancy put her pictures on Snapfish, but it looks like they changed their viewing policy, you now have to sign up to view them and that stinks...so I'll be adding them to my WebShots album when I can get to them.
Also look at the Windy Acres recreation hall/kitchen/rally field photos near the end for a possible future rally, just wanted to have some rally field and rec. hall photos in case we want to consider this place in the future...the field holds 30 with W/E comfortably, with 6 or so full service sites adjacent to the field, with a community fire pit in the center of the field.
