That's right rv.netters....We hope you can "Make the U.P. rally". We had a great time visiting Mr. and Mrs. Mik at the homestead in "the middle of nowhere, north central Wisconsin" last summer and thought, wouldn't it be neat to start a rally somewhere between us? Michigan's U.P. is a beautiful summertime destination, with lots to see and nice weather to boot. We know there will be at least 2 rigs there, but hope maybe a few more rally fans will join us. We are finalizing details with the campground, but here are the basics....

Dates: June 25-28, 2009

City of Gladstone Campground

Rates are currently listed at a mere $20 a night for full hook-ups.

Map of the campground (large PDF file)

More info to follow...............

If you are interested, please post and/or send me a PM. We'll probably have to do reservations individually, but Mrs. Mik is checking on further info regarding that. Thanks for looking on behalf of bluenote, Eeyore66, Mrs. Mik and Mr. Mik.

This is sooooooooo cool! I can't wait! There's SO much to see in the UP. It will be a nice change of pace from the April rallies!

Wish we could. It would be great to meet up with other RV.Neters. We'll be in the UP two weeks later on our way to Yellowstone.
Have a great time y'all!

When I came back from a trip out west,I returned thru the U.P. It was the third week in June and stopped for gas. It was 37 degrees out and snowing. So it is best take a winter coat along just in case.

Hey all you Canadians! This rally should be close enough for you folks to join us! We'd certainly LOVE to meet our neighbors to the north! Come on, let's hear from you!
