Camping Man, it's a lot more simple than it seems really. I've never had to do that, and I've never had any issues with my truck.

By my signature, you can see my current TV. However, my TV before the Ford was an 03 Dodge CTD.

When shopping for a newer TV, Dodge was my first choice as I had great luck with my old Dodge.

I looked at 1-2 yr. old used trucks and it seemed that half the Dodges I looked at were factory buy-backs with the emission issue being the sole reason for the buy-back. Just scared the heck out of me.

Not saying this Ford would be any better.

I really miss that Cummins diesel. Better fuel economy and alot easier to maintain in my opinion.

Quick update on my CTD. Since the software was reflashed I haven't had any issues. I've put another 5K on the truck since then and I think my city MPG has improved a little, maybe another 1 or 2 per gallon hovering in the 18.5 MPG range in the suburban area of St. Louis.

Excellent, you should have many happy years of service from your truck. Good luck with it
