Pensacola Beach appeared to be clean, neat, and friendly...

The public beaches weren't RV friendly... but I might have been able to squeeze our truck (and it's cargo) into the parking areas at some of the sites.

THere is a large area beyond this sign that is designated Gulf Island National Park... with campgrounds, bicycle and hiking trails, beaches, and of course at the very end Ft Pickens.

Most people wouldn't believe that there are areas this barren beside the Gulf of Mexico... especially in Florida
