How much should I pay for a 1992 Buick Century. This car is a four door ac/ps/at with Remco trans. pump, custom made tow brackets and Roadmaster Falcon tow bar, rear lights are wired using diodes.
The Buick has 110,000 miles, new brakes,no dents in body, tires are not new but plenty tread and no sidewall cracking. No axulury brakes. Has been kept in garage when not in use. Your opinion please.

What ever the seller is willing to take and what ever you are willing to pay, with the book as a starting point. I sure would no go much over the clean retail price. The seller does want to sell or he would not have it listed.

Just a thought to remember...to the average used car buyer this car is loaded with a load of useless "junk" and unless the seller can "catch an RV owning pigeon" he will likely be whistling for a long time before it is sold for a very low price.

Probably the most valuable thing about this car is the lube pump. Several things makes it VERY cheap. 1) it is a Buick 2) It is 17 years old 3) It has over 100 K miles on it.
I would not offer over $400 for it (and that is generous IMHO) unless it is exactly what you need/want.

110,000 miles on the odometer, or 110,000 TOTAL, including the towed miles? If it is 110K on the clock, I would not be willing to give much for it at all, the chassis and drive train probably have well over 200K.
As for it being a Buick, that isn't a big thing, IMO. I have owned several Buicks over the years, and they were all pretty good cars. Actually, nothing but a jazzed up Chevy! Or, was it a poor man's Oldsmobile? Whatever...
Of course, you could always buy it just for the towing gear, put that on something else, and throw the Buick away!
Here in Montana, the age is an advantage. You could put "Permanent" license plates on it, and NEVER have to renew the registration. Yep, my truck and my motorhome are both "permanent"!

My brother sold pretty much the exact car you're talking about, minus the 4 down set up, about 6 months ago for $600 her in Florida... With the 4 down setup, I think up to $600-$700 is probably reasonable...
