I've built a bunch of hitch and bar holder out of my garage, you can go to my web site and see what I've made up for my trailer and friends. The unique thing about my designs have been that a locking hitch pin locks the hitch, weight transfer bars and even the sway bar to the front of trailer to prevent theft, and keeps greasy parts away from cloths or shins. Use the link above or in my signature, and go to the tab "Things I've built". you can stop the slide show on the hitch holders to get a better look at what I've made. Hans

I just place the end of the bars in a walmart bag and put them in the storage compartment and wrap another walmart bag around the hitch head.

I mounted a section of PVC pipe under the front of our TT with one end capped and the other with a threaded end cap. The 2 bars from the equalizer slide right in. We put an old tennis ball on the ball and the hitch head stays attached to the truck or get put into the front storage bay. At home it sits in the corner of the garage.
