I would like to replace my shocks on my 2002 Dodge, 2002 RoadTrek, 190 Popular with the Bilstein shocks, if I am correct the front shocks are: B46-1401, the rear shocks are: B46-1137.

Contacted Camping World gave them the info on my vehicle that they requested informed them that my RoadTrek was a 2002 Dodge Van B-3500, following is an E-mail I received from Camping World.

Mr. Cabral;

Unfortunately, Bilstein does not make the shocks for your RV. They informed me that they only have shocks available for the Class B 3500 chassis that is 2003 and newer. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you,

Shane
Camping World

Note:

I do not believe that Bilstein does not make these shocks.

We put Bilsteins on our PW last summer and ordered them from Shockwarehouse.com. i was happy with the info they provided--I either called or e-mailed them with some questions. The shocks arrived quickly and we took them to our local mechanic for installation. Check them out--at least you could verify the info you received from Camping World.

Buy them on line, you should be able to get free shipping. Then take them to a tire/shock store, and have them put them on for you. You should be able to get installation for $20 a shock or less.

Ron, I'm pretty certain that Bilstein makes shocks for yours. I put all four on my '99/'00 RT D190V in '02. The only thing a little 'odd' was having to know which weight rating front suspension I had (there were two possibilities). You'll get that from the door post chassis info tag.

They made a huge difference on mine, tho' that was probably mainly because the OEM's were totally whipped at 55,000 miles. Removing the fronts is a bugger. There's a nut on a stud that you have to hold, but it's down in a well where no normal wrench will hold it. The top of the stud has just two flats to grip with a wrench. There are several special tools made; ask the senior counter guy at NAPA, or see the Snap-On guy (special 1/4" drive socket). The rears are a bit easier; you just have to work in limited space at arm's length.

Jim, "Be the coffee."

On their website, Bilstein only lists fronts for a 2002 Ram 3500 van.

I installed Bilsteins on our '97 Leisure Travel Van and purchased them from eshocks.com. I called their 1-800 number and they helped me through the selection process. They shipped free at the time.
Made a big difference in the handling.
Good luck

My Bilstien shocks were delivered today. I ordered from e-shocks yesterday and UPS delivered them today!

My 1994 RT 190Independant is only 7k something GVW according to the sticker inside the door, so I ordered B46-0925 HO for front andB46-1137 HO for the rear. Hope those are the right ones.

The E shock people were very helpful (I do not recommend ProAm - another online place where I TRIED to order, long story).
I recommend them.

It's been a few years ago now but Camping World put Bilsteins on my 1993 Dodge PleasureWay.
