We are looking for a camp ground to stay at in the Charlotte area, while we are visiting race shops.

Thanks!

We stayed at Fleetwood RV Campground which is just outside the speedway and very convenient to the shops.

Cross Country is the " HOME " of speed bumps. Be careful. A personal gripe of mine

If you are visiting the Mooresville shops, Statesville KOA is located just off I-77 Exit 45. Super easy access, big rig friendly. 9 miles north of shops at Exit 36 Nothing wrong with Cross Country but it's actually farther from Mooresville (live locally)

We like to stay at Dan Nicholas County Park in Salisbury when we are visiting in the Charlotte area. Small park but a GEM! Level and large sites, a fishing lake with paddle boats, a working carousal, a childrens train (that gives rides) a large playground, a gem mine, a petting zoo, tennis courts, etc. And its less than an hour away from the speedway in Charlotte.

I created this Google Map of CG's when I lived in the area. I hope it helps.
