Now all the people wishing a for a crew chief change will find out the Jr is only a mediocre driver in the first place. He will need a super-team behind him to win even a few races.
BTW I used to be a Jr fan.

I suspect Jr will do a litte better. After all, Henderick is throwing everything but the kitchen sink to help him. After all is said and done, I'm willing to bet Jr will still be the worst of the four drivers on the Henderick team!!
I hope I am wrong because Jr doing well is good for Nascar and I like Nascar.

I was surprised that the two stayed together when coming to Hendrick. I thought a change in crew chief should have been made then.
But after all's said and done, it was pretty cool that the they were given a chance to succeed together in the new environment.
At least they won't have to wonder if they could have made it work.

But Eury ain't the one driving the car. Jr is still gonna suck as a driver no matter who the crew chief is. And mediocre is stretching it a pretty good bit. And no I don't hate Jr.

But seriously, I like the guy, and I think an awful lot is expected of him because of his name. Nepotism isnt the best talent identifier, just ask Kyle Petty.

It was time for a change as Eury Jr could not adjust to the changes in the track during the race. IMHO, he should never have been brought over to be Jr's Crew Chief at Hendricks. When Jr was winning, who was the Crew Chief? I believe it was Eury Sr. Junior has talent, but someone has to be the boss, motivate the driver, call the shots, and not let the driver dictate the setup.
