Cannot speak to the Good Sams warranty. But mine is Camping World. Also a sister company to Good Sams. What if Affinity/CW folds? A rhetorical question.

With any extended warranty, along with the upfront cost, you should check their coverage, deductions, approval process, Transferability, service outlets they allow...AND ALSO THE EXCLUSIONS. Example, my ext warranty paid $150 for leaf springs replacement but not the $150 for the needed axle alignment, after the install. When the spring broke it caused a tire to blow, which did some body damage and underbelly damage. No coverage for that.

In another case they would pay $200 for brake problem diagnosis, but only if a new $45.00 magnet was installed. So I had to wait a couple of days for the dealer to get the magnet ordered and installed.

But one waterheater replacement and you probably will break even.
