Went to Palm Springs last weekend and and while I was there had it washed and waxed. It sure does look pretty! I did find a toilet leak and will have to order a new valve and install it. Trying to find an excuse to go out again this weekend.

Ran the engine for 15-20 minutes and exercised the generator for about 2 1/2 hours.

Got it back from the radio shop today after having them install the new backup camera cable to replace the one that was pinched when the roof and driver's window were replaced .Man,believe or not,it actually has a clearer pix than before.
Knew I shouldn't have washed it a couple of days ago as we've had almost 3" of rain the last two days and now it's all dirty again before we head out.
Finished LOADING it for the San Diego trip to watch the Grandkids there while they're on spring break. . Sunny and 20 degrees warmer than here. .YESSSSSS Taking off in the AM and will be stopping off in Vancouver,Wa.to see the new GREAT-Grandson. .

Put some new metal trim on the sides of it and screw covers too. DS painted cabinet doors and the bathroom door. Using the hacksaw on that trim left my hands good and sore but man it looks so much better.

Had the DS windshield replaced. It developed a crack from top to bottom right in front of the driver. The guys State Farm sent were professional and competent (and I'm not easy to please). The shaded area is much darker than the older one on the passenger side. The glass guys told me that they fade over time, and the broken one was no-telling how old.

I smiled in relief that dear hubby had 4 Michelin back tires installed this week, now all 6 tires are new and hopefully can rock and roll smoothly and safely. (had blowout on a back tire coming in from trip Sunday night)

Finally got the rig back from the shop where it was because of trouble with the levelling jacks. $1980.00 later we are infomed that the selenoids and the control board where burned out because of leaving the board activated after bypassing one selenoid. One where in the HWH manual does it say this. Beware!!

I have been modifying and improving(?) my 1991 Aero Cruiser for almost 3 years now. My current list has 44 items. Most minor, a couple of major ones.
2 more complex projects in the works for this season; a solar thermal hot water system flat mounted to a section of roof and a changing 2 of the 4 drawers under the bed into a small cabinet.
Recently, I did a complete suspension rebuild. Really made a huge difference in ride height and handling. I would wager some of the changes/mods/upgrades could be used on other chassis just as easily.
Here is an article I wrote about it....with pictures!

I post once a week about all sorts of projects, problems, antic and mistakes. Mostly mine!
