We also have a blue Coleman Roadtrip grill and love it. I believe we have using it for 3 or 4 camping seasons now. Love the griddle on one side, comes in handy if the weather is bad and we cant cook on the open fire.

We just bought a used motorhome and it has a brand new RV Q. Has anyone ever used or heard if those are good?

Do you use the large tank (20 lb)? I alwasy find that after a few uses I lose pressure and flame. Very frustrating. I'm doing something wrong but don't know what it is.
I've tried to only open the tank 1/2 way, 1/4 of the way, all the way on then back it off.

Any tips you can offer would be appreciated.

I need a new grill and Kohl's has the baby q 100 for $129 and we have % off coupon. I was about ready to jump but then noticed that there was no flavorizer bars or other medium to actually make it taste like grilled food. If it tastes like it has been cooked on a griddle I might as well save my money and do it on the stove. Am i wrong or do you actually get the flavor similar to charcoal or other gas grill with lava rock or flavorizer bars?

I have the BabyQ and love it. I grill meats all the time and I think it tastes just like my full size Weber grill at home. I also bought the griddle accessory to use for bacon and eggs.

My $30.00 Wal-mart grill did not make the list either. Oh well.

Yeah, what's up with that? I have a $30 wally world special that I got 3 years ago for full timing. That thing has had at least 20 midsize bags of charcoal burned through it. Steak, burgers, wings, chicken, hot dogs, pork chops and Pizza all come out awesome.

There is no replacement for charcoal.

Im in agreement with you. I had one of those Coleman Roadtrup grills and though it was a PIA to use and keep clean.

I have the Weber Smokin Joe Grill....number 4 on the list. It so easy to use and keep clean. Im done with propane...even at home.

My wife commented yesterday "that was one of our best purchases" as we passed a Weber Q in a store.

We used a Roadtrip a few times before buying the Q. The RT is junk in comparison. Our Q now serves us at home as well as our campsites.

+1 for charcoal.

I've been using a Weber Smokey Joe for all my in-camp grilling needs for over 15 years. Great product.
