For ALL of you who missed, and those that did attend, the first Rally on June 19 here is your chance to join us again...
WHERE: LITTLE RIVER CASINO & RESORT (Manistee, MI) WHEN: September 11 - 13, 2009
Little River has a wonderful RV Park located right next to the casino complete with full hook-ups. Besides having you site you also have access to their pool, sauna, hot tub, weight room, etc.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend...you don't have to necessarily like casinos to stay in their RV park - there are many things to do in Manistee, Mi besides the casino like the Bargain Bin, Dublin General Store, 2 Lake Michigan beaches in Manistee, and lots of shopping in the city of Mainstee; you are also only about 1 hour from Traverse City, MI
I have reserved in my name sites 30 - 33 (pull through) and sites 12 - 16 and site 18 (back-in sites)...all of these are full hook-up sites. You need to call Pam Johnson at Little River Casino and tell her you are from RV.net or give her my name and reserve one of the sites above in your name and after you have a confirmation please let me know what site you have.
Below is a link to Little River Casino Resort and other surrounding things to do and also a site map for the RV Park...we will make side trips to Dublin General Store and the Bargain Barn for all of those who are interested...

To reserve your site call LR RV Park at 1-866-572-4386 and give them the dates you staying then give them my name (Eric A.) and then they will either take my name away or add your name to mine...then let me know what site you are confirmed for...
As before we will have a Friday night get-together (need portable fire=pit and wood), Saturday morning breakfast (any volunteer cooks?) and the Saturday night Pot Luck. Also Saturday afternoon we can all go down to the Bargain Barn for those great deals they have...
As before a few of us are going to meet at Soaring Eagle in Mt. Pleasant the night before (09/10) and then Friday morning we will finish the trip up to Little River with of course a stop at Dublin General Store for steaks, fried chicken, etc. so please join us if you can...if not I highly encourage you to stop on the way and visit The Dublin General Store (see link above)...

Looks like there will be a Saturday morning breakfast of blueberry pancakes (thanks Lou!) along with bacon that I will be bringing. I do need someone to bring a small bowl of fruit and someone to bring some regular pancake syrup (I already have sugar-free syrup)...
I'm planning to be there but not made a reservation yet, a little slow but will maybe drive over Monday and reserve a site then, I'm at Mesick now. Bill

Been so long since I've been on RV.NET I'm surprised my account wasn't suspended.
We'll bring a portable fire pit and some wood and do the blueberry(or not)pancakes for Saturday morning. We're going to be up in that area in the middle of August and again Labor Day weekend so we'll be dropping the 5er at the cabin and just pick it up on the way to LR for the rally. We'll either meet ya'll at Dublin or at LR depending on when we leave.

I have site 18. While waiting in line at the check in I noticed a posting advising no camp fires allowed at the sites , dated June something 2009. My intent was to ask but I didnt see any portable fire containers at the occupied sites, then I started talking to the clerk and forgot to ask about the notice.
You picked a nice CG all site pads are cement, by the way I left with more $$ than I went with today. In May I left Vegas with none! See you all in Sept. I hope to have my Mesick 2 acres dozed and drive and sepic in by then. Bill.
ps instead of making a food dish I think I'll get something pre made, any suggestions?
