I need some help. While cranking down the top it will get half way down and then there is not enough tension to keep it going. It seems that the spring in the crank tubing is broke and I can't get the nut off to remove the tubing. It is an original Dutton-Lainson winch MOdel DLB 1200 A. It seems that flagstaff has their own bracket mounting system with the square tube welded onto it to fit the crank. Will I have to buy form a Dealer since I cant get the welded tube off the original.

Thanks
