We have always plugged into 30 amp service. A campground we are considering has 15 amp service. If we connect our Clipper pup to this service, what will operate in the camper - and what will not?

PUPs by design generally don't use very much shore power - they are meant to operate on 12volt batteries for the basic needs. The added attractions are what start using the juice - A/C, microwave, electric heater, etc. The biggie being the A/C - 20+ amps for starting. As you can see if you NEED 20 amps for the A/C, most everything else should get by on 10 amps if a 30 amp service will work. While it isn't quite that simple, it gives you the picture. Unless you want to run A/C or some electric heaters, you should be fine with 15A shore power.

If the service is the same, i.e. 120 volt, everything however you will be limited to 15 amps. Your 'standard' outlets should all be on one circuit (one 15 amp circuit breaker) and the a/c should be on a separate circuit (one 20 amp breaker).
If you run the a/c, you won't be able to run the coffee maker and vis versa!
The 12v system (converter) is usually wired to the one 15 amp breaker and uses minimal AC amps, so the lights and water pump will work.
Air conditioners run just under 15 amps (after startup).
If you need to run the toaster or microwave, turn off the a/c till done!
