I have an '08 Winnie View. Just returned from a park with no hookups, but ran generator from time to time to charge batteries.
Went to sleep with FULL CHARGE. Only draws on house batteries were: propane fridge (starter) and night light and porch light--both on all night), and propane furnace (starter and fan) turned on at about midnight. FUrnace cycled about 6 times during night... Batteries dead by 5am (ish). Is this normal? seems like an awfully short lifespan for the batteries.
that is an extremely short time period. Suggest recharge your batteries, then check the battery water levels, refill as necessary, then replicate the situation and see if it happens again. Make sure the fridge wasn't accidentally left on 12vDC as that will definitely drain your battery down.

Batteries have been know to die rather quickly. The two lights probably draw an amp a piece, the fridge maybe and amp but the furnace could draw 15 amps. If you are near an auto supply store charge the battery and take it in for a check. Good luck
Those two lights could have drawn 2 to 3 amps and you said on all night. You probably turned on other lights before bed, so you could have consumed 15 amp hours there alone. That furnance probably consumed 40 amp hours, and the refrigerator probably 1 amp hour. As you can see, you could have used a lot of the battery capacity. How do you know the battery was fully charged? If you used the built in gauge in the RV, they are well known for being inaccurate. You could have easily started with a 75% charge. When operating off battery, leaving any lights on, especially all night, can draw down a battery a surprising amount.
Your load could very well do in a single Group 24 dual-purpose "RV-Marine" battery, overnight. The furnace will drain a small battery quickly, and just that porch light for 8 hours represents about 1/5 of a SRM-24's storage capacity, the fridge controller another 1/6 to 1/4.
On the other hand, if you have 200 AH of true deep cycle, 10 hour rating for 20 amp discharge, you should be good for all night, even with the furnace load.
