Hi! I have a Fleetwood Jamboree 2007 when the wind is blowing I get a leak around the A/C, Striaght down rain no leak went to C/W for sealer they advise replace the seal has any one done this, how much of a job is this? What about the electrical and drain is there a problem disconnecting? Thanks for your imput.
Actually it may only need to have the bolts snugged down. The foam gasket that seals the a/c to the roof is held firmly pressed down by 4 bolts accessed thru the ceiling filter housing. Remove the screws securing the cover and snug (not too tight) the 4 bolts. That should do it, but after a few years the gasket may still have to be replaced, an easy proceedure!
Snugging bolts and screws is always a good idea in a condo that goes down the road at 60+mph. When I think of all the vibration our coaches sustain, I routinely check bolts and screws and I am always surprised to find more places to look. I just found the bolts on both of my AC units very loose. I hope that is the source of your leak because it is an easy fix. I have reached a point where when I find something loose I apply a dab of glue (usually super glue gel, or goop) and tighten it down and then feel secure in it's security. I have found that if I want to loosen it for any reason the super glue bond is easily breakable.

"fisher60" said it. Unlikely that the gasket needs replacing in an '07. The bolt tightening will do the trick. Tighten each one a little at a time, but not TOO much.
