So the question is;
Is that an OUTFITTER! or a 4 wheel camper?

While I feel for the guy, I have to say this.. he was either going pretty fast when he hit, or that camper wasn't built worth a CRAP.

I managed to do something similar to my Haulmark enclosed snowmobile trailer a few years ago. I didn't even realize it for several days, because I never heard or felt anything. All it did in my case (thank goodness) was "invert" the curved edge of the roof, where the sidewall meets the roof. The roof is still sealed and everything, four years later. Never have bothered to fix it.

Northern Lite ought to chip in and donate a new camper for him maybe. Or we could start donations since the guy still needs a job to top everything off.

I never noticed it till I looked at the picture again. Does it appear to anybody else that there is an arm and hand in the lower right part of the picture. Right were the blankets and such stuff is. I blew it up and it sure looks like it to me. Maybe I'm just seeing things.

That's a 70's vanguard TC (almost identical to mine actually).

This happened in my home town, just a few miles from where I live. I have always been REAL careful on this section of road, even the buses only miss the poles by maybe a foot. This truck/camper was owned by a tradesman who came here from Ontario looking for work. His camper had everything he owned in it.

wow that's so sad.
makes all my problems so small now.

Not sure what that is, but on the up side the paper reported no one was hurt.
