Do you think he could have had his slider in the maneuver position? That is what it looks like to me,

Nope. On second look, it's an "OMG oops". Or what wus that noise? Talk about a trailer that pulls like you don't even know it's there.

The first part is very intriguing.
Shame we didn't get to see the ending......

Maybe he had his radio turned up full volume or maybe he is hearing impaired. But he should have noticed something wrong by looking in his mirrors.
I would never have believed this if I had not seen the pictures!

Would have been really enlightening had you had a sunroof in your vehicle and had someone with the camera pop their head up and take a photo down into that box to verify what had happened. The pin looks to be a full foot or more behind the hitch head, if there even is one installed! He was ignoring you on purpose as he was fully aware of the problem from the first glance into his windshield mounted rear view mirror and seeing his trailer further back than normal and riding on the bed rails, but as it had obviously happened early in his trip and seemed to remain attached without damaging his truck, he was now determined to get the thing home at all costs. You can't be towing something like that with all of that grinding and groaning going on back there without being aware of it, I don't car how light that fiver is!

5th Wheel hitch? Was I suppost to buy a hitch for the truck? The trailer has the hitch thingy hanging out the front! I had the king pin thingy hanging over the tailgate, but it slipped forward on me!

Forget the trailer, where is the wife. She was sitting in the back holding onto the hitch pin.

That is crazy! I hope he wanst aware of what happened, how could you knowingly put everyone on the road at risk if he did?
