Use the "Print Topic" button at the top of the thread and file it in a filing cabinet.

The moderator will only remove posts if there is someone that disagrees with you and notifies the moderator.

No automatic removal that I know of - but how about much older posts, say 3-5 years old? Moderators remove posts they consider inappropriate, "flaming" or breaking forum rules. They also close threads that have degenerated into arguing & namecalling.

The "secret" and the power of this forum are realized once you learn how to use the Advanced Search feature. I've found lots of great info that I either missed or wasn't interested in when it was first posted, but I can now find. Found a post a while back that was actually a couple of years old, but the OP is still active on the forum, so I was able to contact him with a PM for clarification on something.

I believe that posts in the "my forum" column will remain in that column until a maximum number is reached then the oldest will be deleted when the next one is added. You can simply cull out the ones you DON'T want to keep and the others should be safe. (unless they've changed the operation recently)

The oldest in My Forum is 09-08 there used to be a second page or a sentence at the bottom saying all posts or something like that. Its not there now. You could keep more than the one page? CharWan
