Does anyone have a link to a site where there are photos of the different campsites at Edisto Island State Park? I know you can reserve specific sites from Reserve America, but I'd still like to view a photo shot before making reservations if possible.

Can't help with pictures, but I guess you know that the CG has two sections. Also, make sure you take a good supply of groceries in with you. It is a long way back to the Walmart to restock. The local store is HIGH PRICED!!!!

Thanks for the advice and photos. We have some friends who have camped there before. They said they could look out their camper door and see the ocean! We'd love to try this campground out!

Another suggestion...google the campground or nearby area select the maps at the top of the page...then use the satellite view...this will give you an idea also.

Good pictures of Edisto. We have booked site #10....looks to be right on the ocean and is a pull through. Anybody know anything about it?

From what I recall, #10 is a well-shaded site, just behind the dunes with the beach just beyond. You'll be about midway between beach access points and not too far from the bathhouse. Just watch the tree branches on the way in - clearance is pretty tight. Enjoy your stay!

Ted....after reading your posts, and reply about #10 (official desciption said no room for slide outs)....I pushed our reservations back 3 days, and was able to get site #18. I feel better about that...........thanks ever so much.
