Before doing anything and I mean anything, check everything and I mean everything inside and out especially if you have the expertise. That's an old MH and it may have issues you can't see till you inspect it personally. The first thing I would do is ask to see ALL the maint. records. If the owner has been conscientious about this MH, he will have all kinds of documentation showing he took care of it. DW and I bought our first MH 5 yrs ago without any help and ended up with a really great MH but one a lot BIGGER than we really needed. Of course, the salesman sold us the most expensive MH he could. Buyers must always beware. Good luck. PS We spent a week this July in Navarre and had a wonderful time!!

Check the NADA guide. I don't know how far back they go, but maybe you can get some pricing info there. You say the appliances are "like new". Are they new? RV refrigerators do not last like a home frig. Be aware a '90 frig may need to replaced soon. Figure that into your offer. Have you owned a rv before, or is this your first? Have the owner/salesman turn on the frig (24 hr prior to your arrival), bring a frig thermometer. Make sure the water pump, water heater are in working order. Turn on the furnace, and the ac. Just because something looks new, doesn't insure that it works. Turn on the stove burners. In order to check all these, there needs to be lp in the tank, water in the fresh tank - and also be plugged in to shore power. Once you are assured EVERYTHING works, then talk money. Don't pay for anything until all repairs are made, if you pay upfront, they have your money and you have a rv that needs repairs. Bad deal. Have you been up on the roof? Check it carefully. Look inside cabinets, ceiling, and slong the walls for any sign of a water leak. That is very important, as it is a common problem with rv's.

Based on your description of the coach and it's condition, I think you are right to be very interested. Tiffin makes a quality coach. You might be able to get the coach serial # and call Tiffin and get any history of the coach. Good luck!!! Safe travels, Kathy
