Yes, we are lifetime members. Don't know why the symbol doesn't show up for us, but either way it doesn't matter at all to us. Much ado about far too little, IMHO.
They already have all of our info and probabaly have sold it to other for profit companies, that's why we get so much junk mail re: camping. I guess it might bother others, but we've got other things to focus on.
Two young retirees restless to GO!
Life is too short to wait too long to do all we want to do!!

The Logo will not show if the email address you registered with here is not the same as the one on your Good Sam Club account. Changing them to agree this weekend will probably not change things. As stated earlier in the thread, the technicians are tweaking the system and will be providing a check box on your profile or preferences page.

Oh, look at this, profile pages now include the check box "Show GSC Badge Yes/No"
In light of what would seem to be the mostly negative response to this feature, why didn't they just remove it entirely till they got their "tweak" together?
The ethical thing to do would have been to simply undo what they did to ad it in the first place!! Give us an "opt-in" feature rather than requiring us to "opt-out" of a blatant violation of our privacy rights!! "Show GSC Badge NO" should be the default...not the other way around.

I wish that people wouldn't make statements like the above without knowing the facts, my email address here is different from good sam but the logo still shows up in my signature.
So my question is are they using other info from GS to add the logo?

Since I'm not involved with the programming (or the decision making) I can only post what I'm told. If you would like, I will request someone to look at those two email addresses.

Copied my own post from thread titled, That GS Lgo - to be or not to be where I am referencing where a member indicated I would be able to make my choice.

More About You
As you can see, I DO NOT have the option of getting rid of it.
I refuse to endorse any business, product, person, or organization, however I am currently being forced to keep advertising for Good Sam. Additionally, Good Sam and RV.net are violating their own confidentiality rules. What do I have to do to take care of this? Does RV.net or Good Sam want to begin paying me royalties for advertising for them? Or, is it going to take an attorney to get RV.net to take the advertising off?"
I just want to get rid of the damn thing
By the way my RV.net email and my Good Sam email do not match.
RVnRobin and DW.
Love my 94 Dodge 2500 almost as much as I love my DW.
