Towing the Grand Cherokee would be good, but you can only do it 4 down, not on a dolly. You need a class C that can tow 5000#, and the tow setup. I tow my Wrangler Unlimited, and my tow setup was less than $650, with brakes and everything.
Contrary to popular belief, the 460 could be fine, the tranny, difficult to say.

I towed a cherokee (not a grand) It was the easyest 4 down veh. I ever towed. I was towing it with a 33 foot '78 Dodge motor home with a 440. As for 11 mpg....My 28'er HR is getting 8 using the miles off my GPS.
as for the one your looking for, I bet it will still get 6-7 with the Jeep. I towed a CJ7 with 33" mudders-Pain in thed A$$. I would find a set of street tires for towing

Whew! I just figured out logging in through a different portal, I have been trying to login for a week to respond. First off, thanks everyone for the opinions. I went to look at the RV Saturday and it was gone. I think we will end up in a class c towing with 4 down. Where we typically go wheeling is only 70 miles away so I am not too worried about it, though I do agree about finding something fuel injected vs. carb'ed. I have been seeing some MH's with small block chevy motors, does anybody tow with a smallblock as it seems a little taxing? As for the 460, I am typically a chevy fan, but the 460 seems plenty powerful.
