How do I edit/delete just a portion of my route I'm trying to set up? I took the wrong highway>

Just redo with the new start and end points. The new start point would be your current position.

Most GPS's will pick up from where you are at. If I decide not to take a road that the GPS has programed it might say turn around a few times but when you don't it recalculates the route from where you are at by itself. OR you can go into the index and select maps and then 'read as text' and you can change it from there.

Hi, when I miss a turn, my Garmins say "recalculating" and puts you back on track.
If I miss 3-4 turns (usually on purpose to see where it tells me to go) I swear she gets exasperated and says "REE-CALCULATING!"
