I'd like to make a trip to Cambridge, Ontario with the HTT. I'd like to spend a couple of days in the area. Anyone have any favorite campgrounds or provincial parks in the area? Not thinking about making the trip until next year, so I have some time to do research.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Best park in the area is Green Acres RV park....very nice park...close to the Farmer's Market in St.Jacobs. Find it in Woodalls. 10 stars.

Rockwood Conservation in Rockwood Ontario, spent a few days there this summer and was very impressed.

I second the vote for Greenacres. We have stayed there several times and thoroughly enjoyed the campground.

We second the recommendation for Valens. It's on Regional Road 97 close to Cambridge (Galt) and is in a nice Carolinian forest. There's a wide variety of sites, and even a number of pull-thrus. If the site has hydro, it also will have its own water hookup, and of course there's a dump station.

Many thanks to our neighbors to the north! I appreciate the suggestions and encourage others to still voice their opinions.
I was in Cambridge 7 years ago on a genealogy trip - my Great-Grandfather McColl was from Galt - and thoroughly enjoyed it. Now, I want to go spend some "down time" and experience more of the area.

Lots to see and do in the area and we also recommend Green Acre if you want a full service campground. Next to Green Acre is Laurel Creek Conservation area which has sites with water and electric and is similar to Pinehurst Conservation area as far as facilities.

Here is another possibility. Can't vouch for it personally, but found it on RV Park Reviews. The review was pretty positive. Inexpensive, three-night maximum stay, in Cambridge.
