The air suspension doesn't raise the truck that much to take a spare out the back, besides there is a square box tube that runs all the way across the back and it is fixed to the frame of the truck. I'm speaking from experience with Kelderman air suspension. I had one on my 1999 F450 and I just had one installed on my F550 less than 3 months ago. Mine has the automatic ride adjustment and a tank so I have a a quick disconnect mounted on the rear so I can use it to air up my tires. I also have a dump valve that allows me to dump the air on the suspension. Mine has the air compressor built into a box that is mounted on the frame rails right under the driver side rear seat.
To the orginal poster, like stated earlier don't remove it unless you want to invest a lot of money into rear suspension parts. Check out your overloads as they should have been cut off. Also the rear suspension horns have been removed because they would have been in the way of the rear bags. It is a fairly expensive unit to have added to the truck, keep it and enjoy. Follow the air lines from the top of the air bags back and you should find the air compressor. I don't think Kelderman sold any of their suspension kits without an air compressor. It is not a large one.

Those of you that look at that picture and say there's only one spare should have your drivers license revoked... You got no business driving.

Heck of a note the guys who are still disputing the owner who has been under his own truck and YOU going by a picture alone?
Pick on me instead and see if ya can tell me negitive stuff about my Quadrasteer Truck. But first I will tell ya that my Quadrasteer Truck has taken me 105 thousand miles SO FAR, NOT a Glitch. On second thought, Never mind you can't!!!! as to AWD I'd just as soon it wasn't under there but it has never failed either. I estimate 50% of those miles have been towing my 5th wheel. And think of Steering a 5th wheel right at the hitch.

If that were 1 tire, then it could not be round. Instead it would have to be oblong. Never seen an OBLONG tire, have you?

Reading all the post and checking the Kelderman web site has convinced me that I want to get one for my self. Definitely keep it. You would kick yourself later if you didn't.

And as for the number of spare tires, Pictures can be deceiving. He has already confirmed that there is only 1 spare tire. Ever here of "Optical Illusion?"

LOL!! The guy, the OP mind you, already confirmed there is only one tire, and you guys are STILL arguing about it?
Look very closely and you will see, in the picture, it is indeed just one tire. I don't think two large truck and or trailer tires could physically fit the way the picture illustrates.

My money's on two spares too.
Before I read any further I'll say two also. Way to big for a pickup tire!
Don
Dran wish I didn't read all the way down to the OP post, still would like to see a better pic of the tire/tires though.
